When I started this blog, it was my intent to post everyday. I haven't done very well with that idea. Sometimes I just forget. This time it was because we went on a trip to Halifax, Nova Scotia. One of our daughters flew down and drove us up there so that we could enjoy the trip. It was so nice of her to do that and we really did enjoy the drive. We spent some wonderful days with the children and grandchildren. They are so cute and have grown so much since we saw them last. We also met our newest addition, Sydney, who is now almost 4 months old. What a little doll. We had such a nice visit with everyone and were there for two of the children's first day of kindergarten as well as the oldest one starting school this year. Our son-in-law drove us part way home (just outside Boston) and we drove home from there. On the way home we saw a moose! Wow - it sure was big. That was the first one I have ever seen in the wild. We are very tired from the trip, but have made up our minds that we will continue traveling for as long as we can. There are so many things I want to do and see while I can still enjoy it. I know the time will come when we can't go anymore but now is not the time.
Now I need to get back to unpacking from the move and putting my house together. I can remember a time when I could whip it into shape in a flash but again - now is not the time. Some days I hate this disease! It makes me tired and disorganized. Or maybe I'm just getting old! Such is life.
