Everytime I go away for a while, I forget how to get into this blog. I write it down but don't know where I put it. It took me 30 minutes to figure it out today, but here I am.
We went to California in August for two weeks. The airport is always so confusing for me but my husband was with me so that made it easier. We went to help his sister move to her new place. She bought a mobile home. She is almost 80 so needed some help. It was lots of work but by the time we left, she was pretty much settled. It always makes me feel good to help someone else.
My friend from DASNI (Mari - along with her husband Dave) will be coming to Ohio this month. They live in Oklahoma. I am ver excited that I will get to meet them. We chat almost everyday.
Our friends in Florida (Debby and Sam) just got back today from a cruise. We didn't get to go this time but will see them in November. We can't wait!
I have been very tired lately. Not sure why. Sleeping sometimes 10-11 hours. If it continues, I will have to see the doctor.
Today was Vince's 2 year anniversary from having his open heart surgery. He is doing very well and I thank God everyday that his health has improved.
Getting tired. Be back soon.

- I am a 61 year old PWiD (person with dementia)of the Alzheimers type. We recently moved to Ohio because we realize we will need to be near our family, and because I just can't stand to be so far away from my family and friends anymore. I lived in Florida for 22 years, having gone there for a wonderful job opportunity. My job was managing the computer systems for the Dept. of Pharmacy for one of Orlando's largest hospitals, along with 6 additional campuses. It was a very demanding position and due to the effects of this disease, I medically retired in 2004. I am married to a wonderful man and together we have 6 children and 8 grandchildren. The purpose of this blog is to journal my thoughts through this disease process.

thanks for leaving a message for me. I can so relate to your Back Again the reason why I have nice website and a blog is for tha same reason. confusion and loosing pieces of paper or even if we put something where we know we can find it this is not true most of the time.
